A licensed chattels auction in Australia can include a broad range of personal property, including furniture, art, jewellery, vehicles, electronics, collectibles, antiques, service by the way of countdown Auctions and more. 

Place a manual bid: If you want to place a bid, simply enter the amount you’re willing to offer. The system may allow you to bid in predetermined increments (e.g., $10, $50, etc.).

Automatic bidding (proxy bidding): Many platforms allow you to set a maximum bid amount. The system will automatically increase your bid by the minimum increment as long as no one else bids higher, up to your maximum.

We accept a variety of payment methods, including cash and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, AMEX, JCB, and UnionPay) Bank deposit is recommended or cash on collection. Eftpos terminals will be onsite at collection. 

We can provide several shipping options to suit your needs upon requests, including, collection by appointment from courier selection. Buyers are urged to contact Pack n Send or E-go Parcels to get deals on standard, and express shipping.  Doug’s Freight also travels many states and may be worth a call. Item will not be released until payment are cleared. Curated Auction will not be responsible for any loss or damage once items have been handed to respectful request couriers. 

Charges are currently set to 12.5 % of the hammer price on all goods for buyers.  This amount will be charged after the sale (EG: $10 item + BUYERS PREMIUM 12.5 % = $11.25) GST will be added to all charges if the seller of the contents is registered for GST. (Some auction will be GST Exclusive). 

Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Australia is a 10% tax applied to most goods and services sold. As a consumer, you’ll pay the GST on your winning bid amount, which is included in the total price. If you’re a registered business, you can claim back the GST you paid on your purchases. Please note that some items, such as basic food or certain services, may be GST-free.
