Antique H.W. Dark & Co. Brisbane Ginger Beer Bottle

An antique stoneware ginger beer bottle produced for H.W. Dark & Co., Brisbane. The bottle is impressed with the company’s name and crest within an oval cartouche, reading ‘H.W. Dark & Co. Brisbane Ginger Beer, Brewed.’ The base carries the potter’s stamp ‘Doulton 45 Lambeth’ indicating manufacture by the renowned Doulton pottery works in England, circa late 19th to early 20th century. Shows typical age wear with minor base chips and glaze imperfections but retains strong clear markings. A collectible piece of Queensland beverage history.
