Extensive collection of artwork and related material attributed to Far North Queensland Aboriginal artist Napoleon Oui. This unique archive-style lot contains a substantial quantity of prints, carved and prepared printing blocks, shield design studies, framed display material and assorted works gathered within a large timber storage crate.

The collection highlights Napoleon Oui’s distinctive shield motif designs and rainforest cultural themes. Included is a framed ‘Contemporary Shield Designs’ display referencing Aboriginal Rainforest Arts and Queensland Government initiatives, together with numerous individual artworks, printmaking elements and design examples.
