A vintage trench-art vase fashioned from a spent brass shell casing. The body is richly engraved with foliage and animal scenes within cartouche panels, finished with an attractive greened patina from age. The flared rim and rolled foot remain intact. Headstamp markings are present to the base (see photo) but are only partially legible. A striking military-folk crossover piece, ideal for display.
