Born Malcolm John Rebennack Jr., Dr. John became internationally renowned for blending blues, jazz, funk, R&B and Creole influences into a uniquely atmospheric sound. ‘Gumbo’ is regarded as one of his finest recordings, featuring tracks such as ‘Iko Iko’, ‘Big Chief’, ‘Junko Partner’, ‘Stack-A-Lee’, ‘Little Liza Jane’, ‘Mess Around’, ‘Blow Wind Blow’ and ‘Let the Good Times Roll’.
