Best known as a founding member of the influential Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), Takahashi was one of the key figures in the development of Japanese electronic music and synth-pop during the late 1970s and 1980s.
Released in 1984, ‘Wild & Moody’ showcases Takahashi’s polished songwriting and distinctive blend of electronic pop, new wave and sophisticated studio production. The album features a combination of English-language and international pop influences that helped establish his reputation beyond Japan.
