LOT 033 Coloured Stone ‘Human Love’ Australian Aboriginal Rock LP

Original Australian pressing of ‘Human Love’ by pioneering Aboriginal rock band Coloured Stone. Led by Bunna Lawrie, Coloured Stone became one of Australia’s most influential Indigenous music groups, blending rock with strong cultural and social themes. Released on RCA Victor in 1986, this sought-after album includes tracks such as ‘Human Love’, ‘Cry Cry’, ‘The Bush’, ‘Truganinni’s Dreaming’, ‘Easy World’ and ‘Waiting For The Tide’. A difficult title to source, particularly in complete original form. This example originates from radio station archives and displays station markings and pen annotations to both sleeve and labels. Sleeve shows moderate shelf wear, edge wear, creasing and handling marks consistent with radio station use. Vinyl remains visually clean with light signs of handling and presents significantly better than the sleeve. A desirable piece of Australian Indigenous music history and an increasingly collectible title from one of the country’s most important Aboriginal bands.
