Collection of two vintage ceramic whisky advertising water jugs comprising a Black Douglas 8 Years Old Scotch Whisky example in gloss black with gold lettering and heraldic logo, together with a deep blue Dewar’s Fine Scotch Whisky water jug featuring gold branding and the traditional Highland piper motif. Both jugs display the classic square-bodied ceramic form widely used in pubs, clubs and whisky promotions throughout the twentieth century. The Black Douglas jug presents strongly with contrasting gold decoration and distinctive shape, while the Dewar’s example features the iconic whisky branding recognised by collectors worldwide.
