Collection of two vintage ceramic whisky advertising water jugs comprising a Buchanan’s Blend 8 Years Old example marked ‘Ready To Drink Now’ and a Bell’s Scotch Whisky jug featuring the classic ‘Afore Ye Go’ slogan. The Buchanan’s jug is finished in a cream glaze with traditional branding and retains its HCW Scandic Great Britain maker’s mark to the base. The Bell’s example is a white ceramic promotional jug manufactured by Wade PDM England and displays the iconic Bell’s branding long associated with one of Scotland’s best-known whisky producers. Both pieces represent classic pub and hospitality advertising memorabilia and would suit whisky collections, home bar displays, man caves, pubs or breweriana collections. Presented in good vintage condition with minor age-related wear, handling marks and storage wear consistent with previous use. A decorative and collectible pair of whisky advertising ceramics.
