LOT 059 Pair of Vintage Whisky Advertising Water Jugs – Buchanan’s & Bell’s Scotch Whisky

Collection of two vintage ceramic whisky advertising water jugs comprising a Buchanan’s Blend 8 Years Old example marked ‘Ready To Drink Now’ and a Bell’s Scotch Whisky jug featuring the classic ‘Afore Ye Go’ slogan. The Buchanan’s jug is finished in a cream glaze with traditional branding and retains its HCW Scandic Great Britain maker’s mark to the base. The Bell’s example is a white ceramic promotional jug manufactured by Wade PDM England and displays the iconic Bell’s branding long associated with one of Scotland’s best-known whisky producers. Both pieces represent classic pub and hospitality advertising memorabilia and would suit whisky collections, home bar displays, man caves, pubs or breweriana collections.
