Collection of two vintage ceramic whisky advertising water jugs comprising a distinctive burgundy McCallum’s Perfection Scots Whisky jug and a cream-coloured Whyte & Mackay Special Scotch Whisky water jug featuring the famous Double Lion branding. Both pieces retain Wade PDM England maker’s marks to the bases and represent classic pub and hospitality advertising ware from Scotland’s whisky industry. The McCallum’s example features an unusual rounded organic form with deep burgundy glaze, while the Whyte & Mackay jug displays traditional cream colouring with decorative red branding panel and handle.
